This is what I am.

Physical & Digital
Pianist & Composer
Filippo Lari is an Italian Neo Classical and Electronic composer.
When he was eight years old, his uncle, a violinist, gave him as a gift a digital keyboard.
At ten years old he started attending G. Rossini Conservatory studying Piano and Saxophone.
Not really familiar with didactic rules, every day after studying boring musical books, on his home piano he discovered what it means to improvise.
Continuing this big passion for music he started to use first audio sequencer on a 486 personal computer with first virtual instruments and plugs when he was thirteen.
At sixteen he discovered his first vintage analog synthesizer, Roland Jupiter 6
Then came the time to build his first home studio and to arrange and produce electronic music.
After a period of electronic research, as a forever Classical music lover, he came back to the origin of his music culture and start a new journey on Neo Classical music following his favourites modern composers like Ludovico Einaudi, Fabrizio Paterlini, Hania Rani, Nils Frahm.
His pianist and composer side let him create solo piano smooth emotional songs and modern acoustic experiments jumping from improvisations to complex compositions.
His last songs are the expression of his state of mind and the results of days spent in studio to improve the mood and character of his recordings.
